The article discusses the typology and chronology of finds of gray clay pottery with dark glossing from the excavations of the Polyanka settlement in the Crimean Azov region. Based on archaeological and historical contexts, as well as taking into account a significant range of analogies, the author suggests dating it to the third quarter of the 1st century BC.
