The article considers the features of the ceramics complexes formed in 12th–13th and 19th cc. on the territory of Ivanovskiy embankment in Vladimir (archaeological excavation of 2010–2011). Research is based on the analysis of technological and morphological diversity of ceramics. Comparative analysis of the complexes has allowed to distinguish significant features marking chronological steps of ceramics existence which in the future may be used for building a chain of the development of local ceramics production.
